Men’s haircuts at AK Lady Barber include a shampoo & style, a razor neck shave and a hot towel.

Starts with the application of hot towels and a pre-shave oil to prepare the skin, followed by a luxurious moisturizing shaving lather. The head is then precision-shaved with a straight edge blade, after which more hot towels are applied. The process is repeated with a secondary shave to create the perfect finish. Sherri knows that, while Alaska men may be no-nonsense and hard working, they still like to look and feel handsome. Eight years ago, she changed careers and followed her dream to become a hair stylist. After being in the industry, she quickly realized there was a real need for men’s grooming services. She wanted to create the level of service men experienced in traditional barbershops and make them feel like gentlemen. For Sherri, being a barber is not only about great hair, but also allows her to contribute and show her love for her Alaska community.

Originally from Knoxville Tennessee, Chelsey relocated to Alaska to live out the Alaskan dream while doing what she loves best: Being a professional Barber. Chelsey is a dog-lover of all breeds and also enjoys being outdoors and kayaking in her spare time.

Alaskan born and raised, Cory stayed in-state for schooling and was a hairdresser for years before finding her passion for barbering in 2018. She is excited to share her skills and laughter with the community through the AK Lady Barber shop, and her goal is to make people feel good, look great and smile. Cory joined AK Lady Barber in 2019 with a shared mission to KEEP ALASKA HANDSOME.
